unhappy

Tue May 31, 2005, 10:24 AM
About three weeks ago I was accepted to a few different schools, I was starting working at a new place, and suddenly all of my friends stopped calling me. At my job I work 40+ hours in a week. In addition to working during the week a still have to take peoples photos every weekend. But I still make time to call my friends. None of these people have called me back. If I have the time, they should too.

These same people have a problem with me leaving to become something more. Instead of cherishing the time that they can have with me, they would rather ignore me?

I am also noticing that many people are flocking to America. This land of dreams and opportunity. I just do not see it. All I see are broken dreams, and missed opportunities. I get better job offers from other countries. I like the people better. No, I do not like other Americans.

So no, I do not like it here. I am going to California in October. After I become an established photographer I am moving. I just might go back to Paris

yeh it depends, even though their economy is based on tourism they don't treat them the best if it really stands out that you're not from there :(

when i was there in april we didnt get a chance to really experience the architecture, with only 3 hours at the louvre and an hour at the sacre ducour, i wish we would have stayed at least a week.
